Fireplace insert installation cost — St. Petersburg, FL

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you're looking at a new fireplace, the bottom line depends on a few specific things. First, are we working with an existing chimney or venting system, or does everything need to be built from scratch? The type of fuel matters too—gas, electric, or wood-burning units all carry different installation requirements. You also have to consider the finish work, like custom stonework, mantels, or drywall repairs around the unit. Labor complexity is the biggest factor here. We’ll get you the exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

The cost of adding an insert depends on the size of the existing firebox and the type of insert you choose, such as gas, wood, or electric. Professional installation involves measuring the opening, ensuring the chimney is safe, and securing the unit for proper airflow. If custom metal work is needed to fit the insert into an irregular opening, that will impact the final total. We provide exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

Installing a fireplace in the summer might seem unusual, but it is often the most efficient route. You avoid the peak-season rush, which usually means shorter wait times for an appointment. It is the perfect off-season project to ensure your home is ready long before the first chill of autumn hits. We can get the job done quickly while you focus on other home improvements.
